PENN vs EDGAR (TITLE)

Round 1 – Penn and Edgar circle to start the fight, with neither doing much until Edgar finally connects with some leg kicks, followed by a jab. Round 2 – Similar start to the second as Edgar continues to move while pressing forward with punches. Edgar shoots in for a takedown, but Penn tags him and he backs away. Lots of movement by Edgar while Penn largely sits back and looks to counter. Edgar keeps threatening the takedown, but quickly backs off. Penn starting to connect more frequently, while Edgar continues to move forward with occasional combos. Edgar briefly gets Penn down with a single leg, but Penn jumps right back up. Round 3 – Edgar circling away, but Penn stalks and finds the mark with another solid combo. Edgar continues his strategy of moving in with quick combos, but few punches are actually connecting, though a nice left hook does sneak through. Edgar mixing in occasional body kicks, then shoots for a takedown but quickly gives up on it. Edgar shoots again and lands a solid kick as Penn packs away. Round 4 – Just like the first three, the fourth starts with Edgar showing lots of movement and mixing it up with punches, while Penn stays back and counters. Edgar with a kick to the leg, but a head kick is blocked. Edgar continues to move but Penn is landing the bigger punches. Edgar moves forward with a knee to the body, and Penn connects with a punch as they separate. Body kick and punch by Penn late, before Edgar closes out the round with a combo. Round 5 – Edgar opens the final round with a big takedown, though Penn gets back to his feet quickly. Edgar continues to move well, while Penn counters before connecting with a solid leg kick. Edgar connects with a right, and follows it up with a left moments later. Penn stuffs a part of takedown tries, but Edgar fires back with another leg kick. Body punch by Penn with 30 seconds to go.
